Teeth whitening and dental bleaching are often confused to be the same thing. Dental bleaching is a way of teeth whitening. It is a common procedure of cosmetic dental surgery. All the celebrities in Hollywood opt for this amazing way out. Teeth whitening is a way out, especially dental bleaching is an way out for the people who are fed up of their yellowish stained teeth. Teeth can also become stained by bacterial pigments, foodstuffs and tobacco. Certain antibiotic medications can also lead to teeth stains or a reduction in the brilliance of the enamel. There are many methods to whiten teeth: bleaching strips, bleaching pen, bleaching gel, laser bleaching, and natural bleaching. Traditionally, at-home whitening is done with bleaching gel which is applied to the teeth using thin guard trays. At-home whitening can also be done by applying small strips that go over the front teeth. Oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide are used to lighten the shade of the tooth. The oxidizing agent penetrates the porosities in the rod-like crystal structure of enamel and oxidizes inter-prismatic stain deposits; over a period of time, the dentin layer, lying underneath the enamel, is also bleached. Very recently there has been the emergence of two great products which help to overcome the age old stains like coffee stains and genetic teeth stains. These are Ez Bright Smile and Dazzle White Pro. Both these are remarkable as they introduce a new way of teeth whitening. Internal staining of the dentin can often discolor the teeth from inside. Internal bleaching can be a remedy to this. If heavy staining or tetracycline damage is present on a patient’s teeth, and whitening is ineffective, there are other methods of whitening teeth. Bonding, when a thin coating of composite material is applied to the front of a person’s teeth and then cured with a blue light can be performed to mask the staining.

Imagine never wanting to smile. Many people who go through their lives without ever showing a genuine smile. They never express their joy and happiness in their faces. Weddings, birth, celebrations, all photographic memories of these special events will reflect a pleased but closed mouth image. Why ever? Many people are so embarrassed and ashamed of their teeth that they never want to smile. And make no mistake, a beautiful smile or lack of, can impact a person’s life. Life style choices such as smoking, drinking coffee or tea , and some medications can adversely stain teeth. Consequently, countless people take the necessary steps to have their teeth whitened. Most general dental offices perform teeth whitening. However, teeth whitening or teeth bleaching can sometimes have disappointing results. The bleaching process can cause teeth to become overly sensitive and also have disappointing results. This side effect may cause patients to reject the process before it begins. Also, expectations are often not met. Dental patients anticipate pearly white teeth, like those seen on super models and retouched photos, only to be disappointed by less that perfect results. Additionally, the whitening that does result may not be permanent. Many patients see somewhat whiter teeth directly after the initial visit; then, after a few weeks, the teeth rebound and become the same as before. Another factor in whitening success is determined by age. The older a person is the more stains are imbedded in their teeth and harder it is to achieve satisfactory outcomes. This unpredictability has caused many dentists to reject traditional whitening procedures for their patients. There is however, a tooth whitening procedure that is proving extremely successful. Dentists using the KoR Whitening process are achieving amazing results for their patients. Part of the secret to the extraordinary results lies within the uniquely developed whitening trays. One thing that is important if you want your teeth to last as long as possible and to also look their best, is to keep them clean. Brushing once a day isn’t enough, as you should brush them in the morning and again at night before you go to bed. Flossing them is also important and you should learn the correct way to do this.

My friends couldn’t give me real answers on teeth whitening cost. I want to get super white teeth, but I can’t afford the $500 visit to the dentist. Do you know anything that works for super white teeth? Maybe a product I can use for my teeth whitening cost question?
